What happens if there is an emergency?
If there is an emergency during the trek, your guides will deal with the situation, they are trained for this. In most cases the company will contact your insurance company and the appropriate measures will be implied. The company and your guide will do the upmost to ensure your safe return in the rare occasion of such a problem arising.
What happens if I get sick?
If you should get sick during your trek, your guide will do his best to assist you in anyway. Medicine is not readily available in some remote regions so we recommend you to stock up on things you may need in Kathmandu. Should you require it; extra rest days can be taken. If you need evacuation, the company will be contacted and appropriate measure will be taken. In some cases you can find doctors along the trekking routes, or one can be brought for you.
What is the weather & temperature like?
Depending on the season. In the summer time the weather is hot and sunny during the day with occasional storms in the evening. In winter at high elevations the temperature is very cold, but the days are normally bright and sunny. September through to November is ideal for the warm days and cool nights and clear weather.
Is previous hiking experience required to go on a trek?
No, you do not required previous experience to go on a trek, but it would prove useful to you.
Are the food / water safe to eat / drink?
During the trek, your guide will advise you on what you should and shouldnt eat and drink. The food at the places you will be staying is all safe to eat. Water you can buy bottled or bring along purification tablets. Tea houses will also provide boiled and filtered water for you to treat accordingly.
What arrangements for drinking water are made while on trek?
During your trek in most places, mineral water can be purchased, however due to environmental reason, we recommend you bring along purification tablets. Tea houses provide boiled and filtered water. Your guide will offer advice and where to get water during the trek. On camping treks the porters will carry suitable water with them.
What is altitude sickness?
Altitude sickness means illness occur at higher altitude. In this time your breathing and heart rates increase. Altitude sickness normally happens above 2800m and symptoms consist of headache, dizziness, dehydration and trouble sleeping. To help avoid this illness we recommend you to drink at least 3 liters of water per day, trek slowly and use acclimatization days. Of course our guides will be on hand to give assist and advise you should any problems arise.
Is communication to home possible while on trek?
In some of the larger towns there will be phone connection and sometimes internet. We can advice you on this when you select an itinerary.
What is Teahouse Trekking? And how it is organized?
Tea House trek is trekking using local trekking lodges for accommodation and meals without setting camp on the route. In this trek the company offers a package which includes a guide, porter and accommodation and meals for a fixed rate per day. It is organized by the trekking company. All of our guides have good knowledge of the area you are trekking in and know the best places to stay and eat.
What is Camping trek and how it is organized?
Camping trek is a fully supported trek where you are accommodated in tents. A full support crew provides you with toilet facilities and all your meals. The Trekking company will organized all of the facilities you will need. The company provides extensive advice about equipment to take and what to expect the team is fun and there is generally a couple of nights experiencing the local songs and dances of Nepal, when the porters and crew are in the mood.
Is it possible/easy to get equipment on hire?
Yes, it is possible to get the equipment on hire. We can help you with to arrange that.
What is the maximum weight allowed on domestic flights?
The maximum weight allowed on domestic flights is 18 Kilo grams.
How many extra days should I allow in case of flight cancellation?
In case of flight cancellation you should allow two to three extra days.
What will be happen if the guide/porter leaves me alone the trail?
We provide only experienced and reliable guides our company will be responsible for this. We guarantee that your guides or porters will not disappear before the completion of your trip. In the case that it does we will resend another guide straight away. Dont worry you will not be on your own, other staff on the trek will help you
Will somebody come to pick me up at the Airport upon my arrival?

What equipment should I bring?
Equipment list of things you needed to bring: Down jackets, fleece jacket, water proof/ windproof jackets and pants, proper foot wear, sun hat, woolen hat, umbrella, rain poncho. Good sleeping bags, sunglasses, drinking water bottles, torchlight, sun block cream, toiletries, gloves, gaiters, first aid kit.

Does Trekking Requires Physical Effort?
Yes, surely trekking requires physical effort on the part of the trekker. The level of fitness depends on the trek. We recommend all trekkers to have a basic level of fitness. But for trekkers who are physically unable to trek our company will arrange them a pony-trek.

Do I need to join a trekking company to get a trekking permit?
For some treks it is possible for you to make a permit without joining the company. Which is the best time to visit in India?
The best time to visit India is from August to the end of December as the climate is a lot cooler. If you are heading to the mountain regions from March through to May and September up until the end of November are good times. Ladakh falls in the rain shadow and can be visited during the monsoon months of June, July and August.
Who will be leading my trip?
In India the personnel is exclusively local with guides who speak good English and have exceptional local knowledge, as well as first aid experience.

We use only reputable hotels and our guides will also supervise food preparation. With the proper precautions, there is no reason why you should get sick while in India.
What type of Lodging is providing?
In India you will be welcomed in small and fairly simple hotels, chosen for their fair level of cleanliness and a calm atmosphere. While on trek, you will be camping in tents that are provided for you along with all camping equipment.
What are the list of Equipment do I need to bring?
