This trek begins in the bustling hill station town of Darjeeling with its blend of advancing modernity and ancient time set tradition. You can take some time in Darjeeling to visit the tea plantations. This beautiful short trek takes in the magical Tashiding Monastery where you can rub shoulders with monks and listen to their awe inspiring chanting and horn playing and then the windswept heights of the beautiful Gichala pass.

The trek passes Rumtek, a beautiful peaceful hill top village with a lovely monastery. It’s really an adventure where the trekker feels like they have stepped back in time.

Trekking Itinerary
Day 01.Fly to Bhadrapur - drive - Darjeeling .
Arrival Airport and drive  to Darjeeling ( 2134m). Overnight hotel In Darjeeling

Day 02: Darjeeling (2134m)
Take a day to acclimatize and see the sights around Darjeeling.
In the morning we take a short stroll for the sunrise view from Tiger's Hill and in the afternoon, sightseeing of Ghoom Monastery, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Tibetan Self Help Center . Overnight hotel.

Day 03: Darjeeling to Tonglu. (2800m)
Drive one and half hour to Manebhnajyang. From here we begin out trek with a rather steep climb to Tonglu. We have excellent view of Kanchenjunga
.Overnight at trekker's lodge.

Day 04: Tonglu to Sandakphu. (3750m).
Many ascents and descents characterize the trek to Sandakphu. Sandakphu perhaps offers the best panoramic views of the Everest and the Kanchenjunga ranges. Overnight trekker’s huts.

Day 05: Sandakphu to Phalut (3760m).
The trek to Phalut is comparatively easy going as one does not encounter many ascents and the trek is more or less flat as we walk along the Singelila ridge. Phalut is near the Tri-junction of Sikkim , Nepal and West Bengal. Overnight at trekkers lodge.

Day 06: Phalut to Rammam.(1980m)
The trail plunges steeply into the Rammam valley until it reaches  the village of Gorkhey after which it more or less flat land. Overnight in Trekkers Hut.

Day 07: Rammam to Rimbick.(2230m)
The last day of your trek to Rimbick is more or less flat with some descents. The trail meanders past meadows and small villages. Rimbick is a small village with a little market. Tonight you will stay at a family home converted to lodge."B,L,D"

Day 08: Rimbick to Darjeeling (2134m)
Drive 3-4 hours to Darjeeling . Stay in hotel over night
Day 09 : Darjeeling- Gangtok.
Drive to Gangtok.
In Gangtok we have a picnic lunch and talk a walk around the town.
Over night in Hotel.

Day 10: Gangtok: (1870m)
Early morning sunrise from Hanuman Top. Full day sight seeing including Rumtek Monastery. Evening drive to Tashi View Point for sunset viewing of the majestic Mt. Kanchanjunga and Mt. Siniolchu . Enjoy some special Sikkim food  for dinner.
Over night at Gangtok.

Day 11: Gangtok- Departure to Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station Bhadrapur / Kathmandu
