Namaste! This with a great pleasure that we write these few comments concerning our stay in Nepal organized by the ‘Adventure Travellers Club’. By no means these few sentences can cover the wealth of experience and impressions that we are taking back home and will carry in our memories forever. First, the legendary friendliness of Nepalese people, from guide to passerby, is truly exceptional. We’ve felt safe & welcome wherever we went. Next, the beauty of the country and it’s people is unique & wonderful. Finally, the professionalism, kindness & friendship demonstrated by the staff of the ATC have been remarkable and we 2 would definitely recommend this company to anyone visiting Nepal in the future. Special compliments to Mr. Ramesh Duwadi – our guide, for his professional, good natured & friendly manners, great knowledge & skills, endurance, wit & sense of humor. It was a fine pleasure hiking with him to the EBC for good & bad weather. Mr. Prakash Sapkota has been very patient with us during months of e-mails correspondence about details of this trip and has met all our requests. Thank you very much.

We completed the Annapurna Circuit and the Sanctuary Trail to the Annapurna Base Camp, as well as 3 days of White Water Rafting, and Sght-seeing in Kathmandu & Pokhara. Our trekking guide ‘Govinda’ and porters ‘Sitaram’ did everything they could to make our trip a pleasure and helped with some adjustments to the itinerary. Their friendliness was exemplary. In fact, the some qualities also apply to our guide in Pokhara and on the river, Bharat to Ramesh, who guided us in Kathmandu at the beginning and at the end of our vacation. As a result of our satisfaction, we are planning the Everest Base Camp Trek in the next couple of years. We had a great time, and Ramesh was very patient while I shopped for ‘Kurta Salwar’. We loved our trip and are sad to leave.

Dear Bharat, It’s long time ago since we came back home but…here it goes our comments so you can put it in your “testimonials” section if you want: - Amazing trek for 2 weeks. Best trekking experience ever. Nothing stays the same after this trip.
- Everything was very easy with ATC, since the very beginning when we started to plan the trek til the end of the trip.
- Any inconvenience or change in original plans were gently and efficiently solved by our guide Kabi, a very charm and professional guy.
- The house guests were among the best possible in every town we stayed in. Food was better than expected. Being under ATC hands was a quality guarantee for us.
Overall, the trip was outstanding. We also send to you some pictures for you to consider. Could you please send to us Kabi’s and Arjun’s emails (we have lost them) to send the Thorung La pict. Kind regards, many thanks and we wish you a very happy 2010 !! |

Dear Bharat, It is time that I wrote to thank you for everything you did to ensure the success of my trek, I realise now that a 25 day trek was a huge undertaking but it was one of the best experiences of my life. The choice of guide and porter was vital and Ram, the guide, was outstanding. His English was first-rate and he was excellent at making sure that I was having a good time. He encouraged me when needed and left me alone at other times. He was full of useful information and I soon realised that his judgement was always good. When he suggested that we stop to have lunch, it meant that we needed a rest before tackling something or other! Several other trekkers commented on how efficient and thoughtful he was and I noticed that many people asked him for advice or information, rather than their own guides. Many trekkers were unhappy with their guides so I was delighted that Ram was so helpful, informative and supportive.
Nurbu, the porter, was amazing; at times I lost sight of him and wondered where he was - only to discover that he had taken a short-cut and was way ahead of us. He was always helpful and light-of-heart; he managed my rucsac with no problems. Your organisation was excellent, as well. I didn't believe it when you appeared with my permit for Mustang in Muktinath; you had prmised to get it to me but I didn't realise, even then, what a long and hard journey it was to reach a place so far from Kathmandu. You seemed to enjoy it, too!
Please feel free to use what I have written as a recommendation. As a 60 year old lady, this trek could have been impossible; it was totally due to your organisation and your choice of people that I completed it and enjoyed every day. It was often tough but I never doubted that I would complete the trek.
I will try to send you some photos but I am not sure how fast the connection it. I will wend them separately.
Yours, |

I did the ‘Annapurna Circuit’ in November of 2008, for me that was the perfect time of year to go. At that time, there aren’t as many trekkers and the weather was perfect. I would say to someone that is considering doing the circuit or trek around the region, “Go for it, you won’t regret it”. An amazing life experience. |

Yesterday, I returned to Kathmandu from Pokhara after having completed the ‘Ghorepani Trekking’. It was a great experience, from the moment of arrival at the airport (and pick-up from the airport) to now (6 AM when I’m about to leave for the airport). The welcome was warm, the people ever more so, the service very professional and the views of the mountains unforgettable. I honor all who helped me experience this! Certainly, I will be back in the near future! |

Namaste! We have had a wonderful week of sightseeing in Nepal whilst our eldest daughter is trekking to ‘Everest Base Camp’ with her school. Thanks to Jenny for our day in ‘Kathmandu Durbar Square’ for all the interesting information. ‘Naniram’ & ‘Bhairam’ had the tough job of trekking with us in Pokhara as we were drenched in pouring rain from the start; the leeches took a liking to us!! Fantastic walking to ‘Sarangkot’ (I need to be fitter for all those steep steps though!) and then the ‘World Peace Pagoda’. Great guides: Lovely characters, helpful & informative. Many thanks, Ramesh for helping throughout our stay, for taking us up to ‘Nagarkot’ during your ‘Dashain Festival’ (we hope you feel better soon). Happy Dashain!! |

Dear Adventure Travellers Club.
I hope the information reached you that I had a spectacular time whilst in Nepal and Bhutan! Thank you for the effort to provide me with the great service and catering I received.
Regarding feedback: I’m an easy customer, so I have not much to report. Ramesh is an excellent guide and companion, and although it’s difficult to compare him to the first Ramesh that accompanied me for the Gosaikunda trek, there is a gap that can only be ascribe to Ramesh’s vast experience.
Many thanks for the spectacular month I spent in Nepal, it was nothing short of epic and an unforgettable experience, I would like to extend my gratitude to Jenny, Ramesh Duwadi and Ramesh Sapkota who accompanied me for the Lo Manthang and Gosaikunda Pass Treks and catered all my needs and more. Everything was planned perfectly and executed better.
Many thanks to Adventure Travellers Club for your offer on a return trip to the area. Please do not hesitate to refer any potential customers to me.
Thank you and best regards, |

Namaste Prakash, My friend, I do not know how to thank you enough for a great time in Nepal. You have fantastic team.
Name: Pete & Alex Gosnell (50 & 55 years old) Trip: Kathmandu Sightseeing– Annapurna Sanctuary Trek – Royal Chitwan National Park - Kathmandu Overall Experience: Excellent 5* plus - We were met at the airport and escorted to our hotel.
- It was suggested to us to take the Kathmandu tour on day 2 rather than at the end of our trip. A great idea.
- We were picked up by our guide and escorted to our tour start and handed over to another very competent and knowledgeable guide for the rest of the day. Then dropped off back at the hotel.
- On day 3 we were introduced to our trekking guides and taken to Pokhara.
- Once in Pokhara at yet another fine hotel we were helped by our guides to make some final purchases before the trek.
- On our trek our 2 guides could not have been more helpful. Full marks go to them.
- Once back in Pokhara our guides made sure that we had our tickets to Chitwan.
- When we got back to Kathmandu from Chitwan we were met at the bus stop by an ATC rep and again escorted to our hotel.
- On our last day we were given more advice on what to do and where to go and then finally picked up and given a very personal send off by Jenny the ATC rep/guide.
Comments: The trek that Adventure Travellers Club organized for us was the standard across the board. It was my own acclimatization problems and gastric problems which led us to cut our trek short at Bamboo. Altitude problems have no age or fitness barriers. If you get it you get it, if not, you are lucky. The ATC organization was absolutely fantastic. One of the great things they did was to have a rep meet us and escort us to places. Getting off a bus with all your gear in Kathmandu and not knowing where to go is no fun. But it never happened to us. Suggestion: If you are thinking about doing a trip to Nepal, do it with these people. They are friendly, helpful and give you a great personal service. We had excellent communication before and after the trip. For us everything was in the price we paid them. All hotels and teahouse accommodation, all meals on the trek (whatever you wanted from the limited menu) (but not in kathmandu) (and you pay for your own coke/fanta on the trek) all transport to and from and all preplanned tours. We purified all water either bottled or tap. We took lots of just incase meds but forgot sleeping tablets which we feel we needed. If you have time in Pokhara, go paragliding, microlite flying and if you go rafting make sure you go to a LOCAL river not one 2 hours away like we did. We met lots of people and made a few friends which we are already in contact with. But always remember one thing when on your trek…………do everything as your guides say……….slowly, slowly. Because we never got to ABC as planned we will go back to Nepal in 2009 and guess what folks……………We are going to go back with ADVENTURE TRAVELLERS CLUB. Why? BECAUSE THEY WERE SO GOOD TO US. |

I have just returned from Ghorepani Trekking with ATC, my guide Bhairam was amazing and for me one of the highlights of the trip, in all of my travels he was by far the best guide I have ever had. The services on the trek where great and I had a really good chance to interact with the local people and experaince their culture. I was very impressed with the freindlyness of the people. A highlight of the trip was my summit of Poon Hill, I have an everlasting impression of Annapurna that will live with me for ever.
I highly reccomend Nepal as a top travel and trekking destination, it surly was the trip of a life time and thanks to ATC for making it happen.

| Hello from Paul ! I had a most exhilarating trek this spring to the Mount Everest Base Camp in no small part due to the professionals at Adventure Travellers. From a welcoming tour of Kathmandu highlights and my 1st nights lodging to the detailed info about trekking routes and tea houses, Adventure Travellers Club was a fantastic help every step of the way. Taking 21 days to explore the Khumbu (enough for acclimatization and rest days as well as spur trails and high passes) greatly enhanced my trek. I highly recommend the Gokyo Valley as a beginning or end to an Everest Base Camp Trek. I was also quite taken with the views from Chukkhung Ri during my side trip to the Chukkhous Valley. Beware however, the Kong-Ma La is not for the pussy-footed, it’s quite a trip indeed! I can’t think of a more exuberant destination than Nepal. The most magnificent Mountains colorful and ancient culture, in short an experience not to delay. Thanks again to Adventure Travellers for making this all come true. Sincerely, |

I really enjoyed my 17 day trek to the Gokyo Everest Base Camp. I do believe that 17 days was a little long for the planned route, but understand the need to be properly acclimatized before going too high in elevation. I enjoyed the visit to Thame Gompa, which made for a good acclimitazation day. I found that my guide was excellent; well informed and a good travel companion. I found that by booking my trek with the Adventures Travellers Club before my arrival in Katmandu , I was spared a lot of the headaches that many travelers to the region mention. Prakash was a big help throughout the booking process. When I returned to Katmandu from my trek I enjoyed several days taking my time visiting various sites and digesting what was a wonderful trip. I highly recommend booking your trip with the Adventure Travellers Club and would be happy to answer any and all questions that you may have about Prakash and their services. |

Dear Adventure Travellers Club, I wasn't really looking forward to doing a trek, but you and the boys at ATC managed to make it fun.
